Voici quelques propos intéressant de francis Pisani, entre autre spécialiste du journalisme.
Dire qu’à lui seul l’iPad ne révolutionne pas le Business Model de la presse en ligne est une évidence. Comment, en introdusant un nouveau forme factor, Apple pourrait changer une industrie ? Evidemment, c’est si l’on oublie les partenariats et âpres négociations d’Apple avec les éditeurs.
Pourtant ce que nous prouve Apple depuis longtemps, ce n’est plus que la fonction fait l’usage (car tous les appareils numériques sont technique capable des même prouesses), mais c’est que la forme fait l’usage, et on en revient là à une certaine tradition du design.
L’iPad donc ne fait rien différement des autres : le matériel, les fonctions, tout est trouvable ailleurs, comme dans la dernière tablet Archos sous Windows7.
Mais là où l’iPad peut et risque de frapper est dans le désir de l’objet, de le prendre sur soi dans son canapé pour lire simplement, de sortir sa tablet dans le métro, ou de l’emmener au en réunion pour projeter rapidement quelques slides.
L’iPad, comme beaucoup de produits Apple ne propose donc rien d’autres, et se contente simplement de changer nos vies… et c’est là que les journaux doivent se glisser. Comprendront-ils les perspectives et modalités de cette espaces nouveaux ? Rien n’est moins sûr.

Apple invented the totaly new concept of personal computer over the 80′. They invent another totaly new object with the iPhone.
But moreover, it is the revolution over the user which is important. As it was not reserved to mainframe, computers became personal. As it is not reserved to our personal computer, users could benefits from digital use in mobility, but not the same as pc… just as iPhone…

“There’s something ironic about Allen, cofounder of a software empire, funding an exhaustive atlas of our neural hardware. (He established the institute with a donation of $100 million.) For decades, many cognitive scientists insisted that the physical brain was largely irrelevant to the study of the mind. It didn’t matter whether the human operating system was running on a real cortex or a set of silicon microchips—the software was everything. Given Allen’s background—this was the man who helped develop MS-DOS 1.0, after all—he might have been expected to ally with the software crowd in the belief that the 1s and 0s were more important than the anatomical details. Instead, Allen decided that our operating system could run only on one very particular kind of computer. “There are so many intricacies to our brain that won’t be understood unless we start to look at the system as a whole,” he says. “All these different details don’t operate in isolation. But how do they work together to create such a powerful machine?”

According to this paragraph and to the rest of the article, it appears that scientist simply could not imagine the atlas map of the brain because they separate the “hardware” of the brain, from the “software” of thoughts. Even based on past scientific discoveries, there is now a strong metafor between our human body and network or technics. And it is no more the body which serve to explain the technics but technics that fit on human… The disruptive idea of Allen imagine another human body, different of simple machines.
